Launches run themselves
Enroll a cohort, set a start date — lessons open on schedule, students get pushes, access closes on time. No manual work every morning.
What cohorts can do
Cohorts with a start date
Enroll students in advance: the course stays closed until launch day, then opens for everyone at once. Classic launch mechanics, out of the box.
Drip: lessons on a schedule
Open lessons by day and hour: a module a week, a lesson a day — any rhythm. Students can't run ahead or binge everything at once.
Sequential progress
The next lesson opens only after the previous one, and gate lessons don't let anyone through without a passed quiz or homework.
Push on lesson unlock
A lesson opens — the student gets a push in the app. Completion grows without manual broadcasts.
Why cohorts matter
A “buy and watch whenever” course gets finished by almost no one. A scheduled cohort creates group dynamics: everyone moves together, deadlines work, completion and outcomes are visibly higher — and so are reviews and repeat sales.
For the school a cohort is also launch economics: enrollment → start → sales window closed until the next cohort. 1Study automates the whole cycle: the schedule, lesson unlocks, pushes and closing access when the cohort ends.
Cohorts FAQ
Can I mix cohorts with lifetime access?
Yes. Access mode is set per course and per cohort: strict windows, forever, or partial access remaining after the cohort ends.
Do lessons unlock by date or by time?
By date and time: a cohort starting at 18:00 opens at 18:00, not at midnight.
How many cohorts can I run?
As many as you like in parallel — no limits on cohorts or the students in them.
Try it on your own school
Creating a school is free, no card required. The plan — 19,900 ₸/mo with no limits — kicks in when you're ready to launch.
